I strongly believe archaeologists need to be allowed to exhume ancient remains of humans in that, it's part of their profession and any attempt to forbid them from doing it might lead to a situation whereby most past things about the development of humans would be lost to history. We are talking and making extensive researches on evolution today because some people paid the price by carefully exhuming remains of humans and studied them.
Today, we know much about how human being passed through various stages of modification. Although in some countries, it is a crime to dig out the remains of people but when we consider the benefits and importance of this process, it should be something that is encouraged. However, it is a sad thing that many people still stand against the idea of unearthing humans remains for study, most of those people believe, doing that to dead people is a sign of disrespect.
