Cotangent shortened as “cot" is the correct answer to the question above. It is one of the six functions in trigonometry. The cotangent of an angle is the length of the Adjacent side divided by the Opposite side

Cotangent can also be derived in 2 ways. These derivatives are:
Cotx = 1/(tanx)
Cotx = cosx/sinx
Unlike sine, cosine, and tangent, cotangent is less used. In calculus, cotangent is derived as -csc^2(x).
