Women in Bahrain are becoming more active in the workforce than women in other Arab countries. They are highly educated, and they participate in many different professions. They hold jobs ranging to everything from teaching to investment banking.
They also hold positions in women's societies and organizations. They also have the right to vote. As more women are entering the workforce, they are building reputations for being hardworking and even more dependable than the average local male worker. Women who rise up and into positions of power and influence tend to come from middle and upper echelon families.

There are a lot of Arab countries wherein the women are expected to be homemakers. Over the past years, more and more people are breaking this stereotype. There are some Arab women who normally get into teaching or they become involved in the medical field as nurses so it is not true that women are not allowed to work in Bahrain.
There are also a lot of women who work in the airlines as flight attendants. There are a lot of companies who are beginning to recognize that Bahrain women are usually more hardworking and reliable as compared to their male workers. It is possible that even more women workers will be hired in the long run.
