Space debris refers to junk, garbage, trash, orbiting Earth. There are millions of particles of space debris suspended in the space. Those pieces of debris are from dead and broken satellites. Humans in their activities have been launching different kinds of things into the space for different purposes, out of which satellites is the most launched object in the space.
There are thousands of dead satellites approximately 12000 with their debris orbiting Earth, also there are 750 live satellites in the space. Concerns have been raised about the harmful effects of all these space debris. Many people opined that if those junk are left uncleared, launching new set of satellites might be a problem. And it might also lead to an increasing rate of spacecraft destruction. There tiny pieces of space debris which cannot be easily detected using radar and a tiny piece of space debris can destroy a spacecraft and even satellite
