What does it mean when someone says JK?

The internet is so filled with a lot of acronyms that we must at least try to know what some of them stand for. An example is JK which means Just kidding. people use the acronym when they don't really mean what they are saying or what they have said. Can you imagine how you would feel when someone fooled you about your bad look, only for you to find out the person was just kidding.

Never get upset by the word because people have this special way of trying to fool their friends and later tell them they are just kidding. JK is used when you want someone to know you were just being playful with a statement you have earlier uttered. Most times people use 'just kidding' when they observe a change in the countenance of the second person, so that the person won't get mad at them.

It means that the person is just kidding. There are a lot of people right now who love pranking other people or they love to joke around. When the other person is already getting agitated or is offended, that is the time when they would say just kidding.

The problem with this is there are some people who actually mean what they said but because they do not want the trouble to escalate any further, they use this abbreviation to hopefully stop the problem. There are also some people who try to trick other people by using small lies then saying “just kidding” in the end to show that they are not serious.
