Mexico is one of the countries who takes vaccination of every child a must. The country has been ranked high by unicef as a result of their demonstration towards ensuring that the high mortality among children which the country has been known with is reduced. Since 1980, there has been high mortality rate among children in Mexico and this was as a result of poor health care services for children.

The height attained today by Mexico can be attributed to their immunization program of the present government who has taken a bold step in ensuring that children below 5 years of age are adequately and properly vaccinated against any form of diseases. The development has indeed been yielding results as the high mortality rate among children is gradually reducing. What also helped the immunization program is the awarenesses and sensitization program being aired by media houses, this has greatly informed many people about why their children need to be vaccinated.
