Anyone can get acrophobia. It is not a respecter of persons. Those who have high anxiety will be more prone to get it, of course, as will those who analyze and others think things, such as what could happen if they fall.
Those who have PSD or a trauma involving heights will be more apt to get it as well. But, it can come from anywhere and can affect anyone at all. There are no set rules when it comes to this mental phobia.
