Dubai does, indeed, export food. They export more than 70 percent of the UAE food based imports. Those places then re-export the food, and it goes out to well over 160 countries. Among the types of food are figs, dates, fish, meat, coffee, sugar, nuts, and rice. Dubai exports several things, and food is undoubtedly one of those. They are masters at trade, entertainment, finance, and tourism. It's a great and very wealthy city which used to be a lowly fishing port.
They started with exporting fish many many years ago, and due to their spirit of wanting to excel in the trade market, they are exporting a huge variety of food and doing it in great numbers. After all, that's the spirit of Dubai and what they are most known for - making business happen, be it trade in exports, trade in imports, tourism, or anything else that they can do.
