Unlike most countries constitution, New Zealand uses unwritten constitution just as United Kingdom also uses unwritten constitution. This form of constitution is made up of legal judgment, laws and convention. They can be changed very easily. One important reason why New Zealand doesn't use a written constitution is because of British colonial master, the UK parliament had already passed some constitution laws which New Zealand think there is no need changing them again. They're inherited those constitution acts from UK parliament.

Those inherited constitution acts contain provision relating to the procedure and institutions of the government. The separation of power is done in four ways. We have the sovereign, the executive - government ministers, the legislature- the House of Representatives, and the judiciary- judges
