There technically can be, because your pancreas could be being attacked by the beta cells, but end up not completely destroyed causing you to be able to produce some insulin on your own but not enough to regulate your blood sugar levels. I don’t know everything because I do not personally have type 1, but my best friend that I have been friends with forever does and I quite a bit but she does like to remind me that I don’t know everything because I don’t have it but I am quite confused on that one. It honestly could go both ways. Thanks
