Yes of course. Both parties have the right to decide if they want to continue the contract. The
main reason why lawyers decide to stop is about the fees of it. Because some clients don't pay
during the sessions and hearings. So for us who are planning to hire a lawyer, we must hire the
affordable one so that we can pay them properly. We must also choose the best lawyer too so
that our legal problems will be solved with the help of them.

Absolutely yes, a lawyer has the right to decide on whether to continue working with a client or not. There are many reasons a lawyer might decide not to further represent a client he had previously represented. Personality conflict, an attorney might decide not to further represent his or her clients whenever he perceives his or her client is not a good fit for him or he is not fit anymore for the work.

Security purpose, a lawyer might be receiving threats not to further represent a client by some anonymous people, in this case the attorney does not have anything to do than to withdraw himself from the case. Another thing is when there is lack of money on the side of the client to continue the case, this will definitely affect the attorney as well as the client because there won't be proper investigation and preparation. Also the lawyer might no longer trust the client and this is very dangerous for both the client and the attorney
