How many bars does Chicago have?

Apparently, there are five piano bars in Chicago, one gay bar and all the rest are bars and clubs offering music, and a wide choice of drinks. Some have craft cocktails that guests will attend for this reason alone, others specialise in beers. Some offer jazz, some blues and because there are so many - 381 altogether if you count all bars and bar clubs - the standard of entertainment has to be high.

You can go downmarket, such as a bar where you can watch a match and grab a standard chips and pie type meal. There's even a karaoke bar. You can do the opposite and be sophisticated, such as at Laguna's taproom. This has a private area for those who want to enjoy their drinks away from the crowd. The drinks here are said to be superb.
