Yes, visit. Unless a place is tremendously unsafe, like during a war, always visit. Travel broadens the mind. You may find hanging out with people there changes your views, your outlook, and in any case there is a lot to do.

There are two universities, several museums, a good art gallery, downtown music scene and the temperature's cool and comfortable for the most part - 11-15 degrees. Stay downtown and enjoy the scene.
