Chicago is in the north west of the U.S.A. and is located midway between the Mississippi River basin and Lake Eyrie, on the south western tip of Lake Michigan.

Chicago is the largest city of Illinois and third largest city of the United States after New York and Los Angeles. It is the county seat of Cook County. Easiet to fly from New York, but cheapest is to take a bus which is a 14 hour journey.
