What was the Diplomatic cables release?

The US diplomatic cables was leaked by Julian Assange's wikileaks and this is popularly known as cablegate. Some anonymous whistleblowers used wikileaks a nonprofit organization that specializes in publishing secret and classified information about corruption and crime related cases of the government of the United States.

Although, the diplomatic cables were allegedly stolen by some US operatives and sent them to wikileaks. The US diplomatic cables were leaked on 28 November 2010. The diplomatic cables contain series of classified information about US diplomatic mission, and her military operations in some countries. The cables were sent to the US state department.

The cables also contained analysis about US diplomatic mission from the world leaders. The cablegate was one of the biggest leaks by wikileaks. Many people and even some leaders of the world had reacted to wikileaks decision to release such classified information into the public domain. As a result of harsh criticism recieved by wikileaks about its decision and government officials reaching out to them, the rest of cablegate was released through a form of agreement
