There are so many acronyms or internet slangs online, which means as an internet user, we need to get familiar with those acronyms. A perfect example and a common one is WTF. WTF is the acronym for What The Fuck. The slang is used most times to react to something we are not well pleased with and it is usually in form of question. For example, I might decide to say: What the fuck are you talking about?. So instead of writing the slang in it's full form, I can just use the acronym WTF i.e WTF are you saying?.
The slang is mostly used online especially when people are chatting with their friends. They consider writing the acronym instead of the full form to be something that saves time. It is also used as an interjection, for example WTF! That's a way bigger than me. The important thing here is, we should be careful and make sure we use it only in our informal chats and communication.
People know that WTF stands for What the F**K. This is something that people use when they find something offensive or when they do not understand why certain things are being done. There are also some people who use this when they are annoyed with other people and they cannot hide their annoyance anymore.
Some have started using WTF with another meaning namely, what the fudge. This will have almost the same meaning but the main difference is there is no bad word included in the acronym anymore. There are some people who just use this when they are being told something that they do not care about.
