Bill Clinton was a successful politician. Anyone who can become the youngest governor of their state and then president of the United States would definitely be considered a successful politician. He was successful throughout his life even though his early life as a child had a few struggles. These struggles may have made him a stronger person which helped him become a great leader.
He was governor of Arkansas from 1979 until 1981 and again from 1983 until 1992. He was the youngest governor at 31 years old and then he became president in 1993 after his governorship. He remained president for two terms and his presidency ended in 2001. He did enter the presidential race in 1987 but he did not win.
