During his time, Ronald Reagan always seemed very popular to the people. This includes both during his presidency and during his movie and TV career. Prior to the mid-1950s, Reagan acted for many movies. He was not considered to be the top movie actors of his time. Instead, he would be considered to be a typical “B” actor. The number of movies that he was a part of is quite a large number.
Also, he starred in many of them and with well-known actresses including Jane Wyman. After that, he acted in many television shows including Death Valley Days, Wagon Train, The Dick Powell Show and Zane Grey Theatre. By the time he became the president, he was already popular and continued to be popular.
