Every country has a different system for allowing people into the country. They must go through a strong process in order to become a citizen or emigrate to Singapore. Most likely, they have caused their immigration process more difficult due to their economy being stronger. They don’t need the workers anymore since they have so many citizens and thriving businesses in the country.
