Air pollutants are the things that cause the air not to be pure. They can be found inside and outside and are very harmful to the environment and animals. Pollutants can be chemicals which are some of the worst kinds. They can be smoke or exhaust or vapors too. Air pollutants can be from fertilizers or can originate in waste water. Toxic dumping creates air pollutants too. Cigarette smoking is bad for the air and so are aerosol sparys.

Factories are sometimes the villans because they have smoke stacks or other things they burn or dispose of that pollute the air. Air pollution can damage health because it gets into your body by way of the lungs and goes on from there to wreck your enitre body, organ by organ.
