Why were UN officials there on flight ET-302?

Usually, the common average person takes flights. People always believe that the leaders of the world and important people have their own jets. However, important and famous people take average flights. Therefore, the next time you go on a flight, it should not be surprising to see celebrities and other important people with you.

There were several known people on the flight including an archeologist, a politician’s family and a UN official who was classified as a United Nations laissez-passer. There were actually twelve other officials from the United Nations aboard the doomed flight. Another group of people were associated in one way or another with the United Nations. These officials may have been coming or going from these places because the UN has offices in Ethiopia and Kenya.
