When asked a regular citizen about the number of bombs that were dropped by the U.S. on Japan, anyone would say two because one bomb was known to have been dropped and detonated on Hiroshima and the other bomb was dropped and detonated on Nagasaki. However, there were probably many bombs that were tried without hurting anyone.

When asked a regular citizen about the number of bombs that were dropped by the U.S. on Japan,
There were other locations that probably had to do with making and testing bombs including Los Alamos, Chicago and Hanford. There were also some project sites in Canada. However, other than the practices, there are two main bombs that were created and named actually. One bomb was named Little Boy and the other one was named Fat Man. Then they were dropped on these two cities.
