Analgesics are drugs that people take when they have pain. The pain could be in the leg, arm, head or any other of the many parts of the body. Pharmaceutical companies are in charge of making medicines. Then they take the medicine to the doctors to sell them. At the pharmaceutical companies, the first thing that should take place is for scientists and researchers to figure out how to make these medicines.

They decide what ingredients are needed to make this medicine. Then the scientists put the right parts of each ingredient together to make the pill or drug. It seems like this is similar to cooking food with a recipe. A recipe is needed to make each medicine and it must be made correctly.
