R1 = 0.707d, r2 = 1.307 d

Its r1 = 0.707d, r2 = 1.307 d For 1st constellation (r1)2 = d2/2 r1 = 0.707d For 2nd constellation d/2 = r2cos 67.5 r2 = 1.307d Hence option D is correct*##**##*
