How large is the Pacific Ocean?

The surface area which would measure how large the ocean is one hundred sixty-five million, two hundred fifty thousand kilometers squared for the Pacific Ocean.

It has an average depth of four thousand two hundred eighty meters. The Pacific Ocean is actually divided into the North Pacific Ocean and the South Pacific Ocean. The equator divides the ocean. There are a large number of islands located in the Pacific Ocean. Some of them include Honshu in Japan and the North and South Islands in New Zealand.
