What is perpetual motion?

Perpetual motion is when an object continues to move unceasingly. In other words, there would be no end to its motion. This is called perpetual motion. Scientists have attempted to make hypothetical machines that can work without a source of energy. It should not need electricity, or any other power source.

There are several reasons that perpetual motion is not possible within our globe. Because of friction, there will be an eventual slowdown and stopping of the movement. The only way that motion could continue indefinitely is for there to be an additional power source. Some loss of energy will be there that brings the movement to a stop.
