Are Dell laptops better than HP?

While personal preference certainly plays a significant factor in choosing a laptop, Dell laptops consistently are named among the best in the industry. For example, in a recent list of the best laptops for 2019, the Dell XPS 13 came in at #2 of the top 15. In addition, the Dell XPS 15 2-in-1 came in at #7. The first HP laptop to show up on the list is the HP Spectre Folio, which clocked in at #10. It was also the only HP laptop to make the list. By this metric, it would appear that Dell laptops are indeed better than HP.

However, there are other considerations to keep in mind, including what the laptop will be used for, from productivity to gaming. Just as much as a brand, attention should be paid for the specifications to ensure that the laptop meets the desired purpose to get the most satisfaction.
