If you remember some of the older commercials, milk is an essential ingredient for healthy living. Milk contains many nutrients and vitamins. There are high levels of Vitamin D, as well as containing proteins and calcium. These are key items needed to keep healthy bones and also for promoting overall body health.
Although there are many doctors who say that too much of these items can lead to some issues within the body, everything in moderation is fine. Using milk, and consuming around 10 ounces a day is seen as a healthy dose and will help to promote bone health, and also healthy teeth. Although there are some who have lactose allergies, there are now calcium-enriched products and other milk-related items that many can consume without any fear of intestinal issues arising. As always, a visit to your doctor can help to find these products, or alleviate any questions of an allergy.
