Lady Gagas meat dress was a sensation when she first wore it on the MTV awards and was the talk of the nation for quite some time afterwards. Now, the meat dress is in the Rock Hall, beiing treated as an artifact because, it is. It seems that the attention-seeking actress wanted to do more than just wear some weird dress to the award show. She wanted to make the point that without standing up for what one believes in, the only thing they will get in return is the mean on their own bones. But what her fans really wanted to know was what the dress smelled like after if was returned...for a long time.
There was a lot of back and forth before it was decided exactly how her meat dress would be preserved but finally, the choice was made to take it to a taxidermist. The dress doesn't stink because it is highly preserved, like beef jerky, except in the opinions of those who detest the slight scent that comes from beef jerky, stuffed bears, and deer heads on the mantle. For most, however, it just smells like basically nothing since it is so well preserved.
