Ear piercing can be dangerous. But, if done correctly and safely, it is not dangerous at all. Piercing the body has been done for centuries and most, without any problems. First, make sure the piercing needle is sterilized. This is important to prevent infection which can occur right off the bat. Then, after your ears have been pierced, it is imperative to once again apply a germicide, like alcohol or hydrogen peroxide. Your ear piercing spot will need to be cleaned daily and the ear ring will need to be turned in order to prevent the skin from growing onto the ear ring and the stud that holds it in place.
If infection sets in, see your physician. Infections can be dangerous and even deadly. You will need to clean it even morei if you do get an ifection and other measures may be recommended as well. Ear piercing is as safe as you make it so be sure and make it as safe as you possibly can be taking all the precautions that are suggested to you.
