There is no guarantee that you will get out of the cold within a day. But, there are some possible ways with which you get relief from a running nose. To get instant relief, you have to breathe in the steam. To make this way more effective, try to mix some drops(3-4 drops)of 'Sancho Vicks' (a herbal product of Nepal).
I don't think you can find this Nepali product in your area, but if you can find the same kind of product, that's ok. That Sancho Vicks is a liquid which is used to inhale when you catch a cold. Mixing that Vicks will be much effective and you will get huge relief within a few minutes. But, while breathing in that steam, try to close your eyes as the steamwill burn your eyes. Hope this will help.
There area number of ways you can cure a nose cold in 24 hours or even less. Everyone seems to have their own go-to in order to fight off a cold as fast as possible but the remedies that really work in a short amount of time are usually the all natural methods.
One sure cure is essential oils. There are a number of them that help but some are better at it than others. Peppermint can be diffused to soothe and quiet runny noses and coughs while eucalyptus oil is great for both runny and stuffy noses and for respiratory issues and coughs too. Lavender will quieten a cough, help a runny nose, and settle nerves so one can sleep. Essential oils can be rubbed into the skin along with a carrier oil too.
Saline solutions, whether store bought or homemade, can be put into the nasal passages to clear out mucus. They not only rid the runniness but help get to the source too.
A good dose of vitamins and a cold remedy like Airbourne are good to take. A vaporizer works wonders as well. Drinkning tons of water and getting ample rest may be the best cure yet and if you do so within 24 hours, you have a great chance of knocking a runny nose out before it goes on too long.
T might prove to be the most effective out of all the remedies given here. You can lose your stuffy nose to some extent by breathing in steam.
