What would be the best weapon during the zombie apocalypse?

What if a zombie apocalypse is going to happen soon? What are the weapons that you would like to use? You are recommended to have a crossbow. Although this would require skills, you can always practice so that you can hit zombies from a distance.

A katana will also be a nice weapon because this is usually sharp and you would have the ability to cut the different zombies so that they would not continue in terrorizing you and your family members anymore. You can also have a chainsaw so that you will be able to cut through a zombie. The only issue with this is it can make too much noise. Some zombies are attracted to noise so this may backfire on you. Grenades will be fun to use as well.

The best weapon during the Zombie Apocalypse would definitely have to be a double sawed off shotgun because it would make the best defense and would be light to carry and easy to use. A backup plan would be a knife. Knifes cut and eventhough zombies have thick skin, it would still get him where it counts.

A spiked bat is a close contender. The only problem with it would be it's a little difficult to carry and to use so a zombie might yank if from you really quick and then you'd be in a world of trouble. The best defense is not to get caught with a zombie. But, since no one can be assured of that, a sawed off shot gun is something you need to have readily available when you are fighting zombies...that's for sure.
