There are several different types of Schizophrenia so to speak. Basically, there are four main types. One type is Paranoid Schizophrenia where the person thinks that someone, something, or everyone and everything is after him or her. There is another kind that is called Catatonic Schizophrenia where when the person is experiencing an episode, they totally shut down or freeze. The third kind is called Undifferenciated Schizophrenia. This one is more difficult to diagnose. The person rarely actually exhibits outward signs but does within themself.

There are 4 main types of schizophrenia. This includes:
Paranoid schizophrenia
A person with this type of schizophrenia may have false belief that a person or group of people are conspiring to harm them. The person’s paranoia may be extreme and they may begin to act on it.

Catatonic schizophrenia
A person with schizophrenia can become motionless and unresponsive. The person may shout down physically, emotionally and mentally.

Schizoaffective disorder
The person has hallucination or delusional thinking along with other symptoms of schizophrenia.

Undifferentiated schizophrenia
A person with schizophrenia may have vague symptoms. They can appear confused and paranoid. They may not talk or talk to talk too much.
