The life of one who suffers from Schizophrenia is not easy by any stretch of the imagination. They at least have to take their medication on a regular basis and must know that missing it at any time can bring on serious, unwanted symptoms like paranoia. That is a committement they must accept. There are times their disease will be triggered and will bring on symptoms, sometimes even when they are on medications. There are also the times a medication or the level of medication one is on is not enough or is too much so regulation of medications are also in the picture. Counceling and other therapeutic measures are also recommended parts of the equation.

In addtion the the things one has to do and committ to, there is the stigma that goes along with having the disease. That can be a huge stressor. The life of one who suffers from Schizophrenia is not easy but it is possible to live a life that is as normals as possible. That can be achieved only by working with a professional, however.
