Schizophrenia comes with a unique set of symptoms. One who has the mental disorder may experience one of all of the symptoms. There are no set rules where Schizophrenia is concerned. It can be confusing and mysterious. One symptom is the presence of a disconnection from reality. Nothing has a rhyme or reason that makes sense.
Hallucinations are common and can be devastating snsd scary because to the one with Schizophrenia, the hallucinations are real. Hearing voices, delusional thoughts, and other things that involve a detachment from the real world are common symptoms as well.
There are four main types of Schizophrenia so the symptoms can vary depending on what type one has. One type causes a person to shut down entirely while another type causes the person to see and hear things that are not there. This type of mental illness must always be handled under the care of an expert professional. Medication will be required as will other means of treatment. With help though...there is hope and that is what ultimately matters.
