The growth hormone is said to be active during puberty but what happens after puberty? It is still possible for humans to grow and become taller after puberty because the effect of the growth hormone will vary among individuals. There are some who would suddenly become taller then they would maintain their height for a long time.
Growth hormones are supposed to stop or at least lessen when a person reaches the age of 30. This means that by the time that a person reaches 30 years old, this is probably the height that the person is going to have for a few decades or so. People’s height may become shorter because of the degeneration of the bone when a person reaches a certain age.
Puberty is a time in everyone’s life where you grow taller and your voice gets deeper. However, when you are undergoing puberty, you may stumble because you are growing. Also, your voice may squeak because your voice is changing. In this case, the growth hormone is working a lot because you are growing during puberty.
Puberty takes place at different times, but there is a key range for both boys and girls. Boys will start their time for puberty at around 12 years old and it will end at around 17 years old. Girls are a little earlier by a year with starting at around 11 years old and ending at 16 years old. There are other changes besides growing.
