The pineal gland is a tiny gland that is very helpful to the body. It is part of the endocrine gland. It is located in the brain. The main function of the pineal gland is to help with sleep. So, if you have trouble sleeping or getting to sleep, then you can blame your pineal gland. Specifically, the pineal gland is located in the epithalamus.
