Hormones are generally speaking organisms that help with making the organs function. Hormones travel through the circulatory system in the body. Enzymes increase the reactions in the body. Hormones are always proteins, but enzymes aren’t. In nature, enzymes are proteins. Hormones are much smaller than enzymes. Hormones have many more functions than enzymes which are limited in their functions.
Hormones that are once used can’t be used again because they are destroyed once they are used whereas enzymes can be used again as their function in the body. When it comes to prosthetic groups, enzymes belong to the prosthetic groups, but hormones do not belong to these groups. With so many differences, hormones and enzymes have many similarities that they are produced in the body and help the body function.
