If you lived in Japan in the 1980s, then you might have seen the first Sudoku puzzles in newspapers because even though it was created in the United States and put in Dell Magazines, you probably didn’t see it in newspapers until 1984 and it would have been in Japan.

However, the rest of the world would not be introduced to Sudoku until 2000s when a man visiting Hong Kong saw the Sudoku puzzle and tried to get it brought back to Great Britain. Then in 2004, people began to see these puzzles in certain newspapers. It also moved to other parts of the world and now many people are able to do these number puzzles that actually originated in the United States.
