One of the best chess players was Bobby Fischer. He became the grandmaster in chess. Some people believe that he was the best chess player of all time. He was also very young. Probably the best game of all involved Bobby Fischer. This took place during the World Chess Championship in 1972. He had semi-retired before coming back to play this game.

The first two games he lost, but Fischer became upset due to the cameras as this championship was broadcast on television. Fischer went back stage to play some more away from the cameras. Then he played nineteen more games and he won. Therefore the best chess game every played was the one where he won the championship against Spassky.
