Who were responsible for the Salem Witch Trials?

There are three people depicted in Arthur Miller’s, “The Crucible.” They are most responsible for the Salem Witch Trials. Abigail Williams is mostly responsible for the Salem Witch Trials because she was the first person to start accusing innocent people of witchcraft. A man named Judge Danforth. He was the anti-justice judge. He did not care at all about anything except for being right.

Another man named Thomas Putnam was responsible because he was having other people accuse others so that he could claim the land for himself. The Salem Witch Trials commenced when a girl became sick in 1692. Soon, two other girls were sick as well. Their names were Ann Putnam Jr. and Betty Parris. These girls were known as the “circle girls.”
