Aromatic compounds have all electrons paired whereas antiaromatic compounds electrons which make them unstable. Aromatic compounds have a high resonance which makes them more stable due to charge dispersal over the whole skeleton of the molecule. Benzene is an organic chemical compound with the chemical formula C6 H6.
The benzene molecule is made up of six carbon atoms joined in a ring with one hydrogen atom attached to each. It contains only carbon and hydrogen atoms. Benzene is a natural constituent of oil and is one of the primary petrochemicals. It took several years to assign a structural formula to benzene because of its unusual stability and peculiar properties.
