Since its launch, Instagram has gone viral several times. However, the first instance occurred in 2010, when the platform was launched. The first post was from Kevin Systrom, who is the creator of Instagram. This post included his dog and one of his friend's feet.
The post went viral because the platform was marketed by FaceBook, which many people had already used at the time. Many liked the idea of having a site where only photos can be posted. Years later, posts from Instagram are still going viral, including baby photos from celebrities, album and movie announcements, memes, and gifs.

Instagram has gone viral several times since it has launched. The social media platform was introduced in 2010, which is the first time it went viral. The first-ever Instagram post came from Kevin Systrom. He is the person who created Instagram. This first post was a photo of his dog.
The photo also includes the foot from one of his friends. Being that Instagram was marketed by the already popular platform Facebook, it helped in having the post go viral because so many people shared the post and were intrigued by the new way of sharing photos. To this day, Instagram posts still go viral with the help of celebrities.
Instagram is a popular website for people to create an account and then post pictures for their friends and family to see. It seems as if Instagram has been around forever, but it really has only been around for a short period of time. In the middle of 2010, the construction of Instagram was complete and it went viral in July. The creator of Instagram was Kevin Systrom and he was the first person to post a picture on Instagram.
He posted a picture of his dog and the foot of one of his friends as the first post. Instagram has actually technically gone viral several times after its initial launch. This is because it went viral on other devices like Android.
