There are quite a lot of smart and intelligent pets that you can own. The earth is full of them. Here is a list of some of the most intelligent of them. Monkey – most especially Rhesus monkeys, they are smart, they have the ability to learn, they have an incredible memory, and they also have the ability to make decisions for themselves. Rhesus monkeys have great vocal system that is similar to that of humans. Have one Rhesus monkey around will be so much fun.

African Grey Parrot – These parrots have the ability to mimic human speech; they can also associate words with meaning forming simple sentences. The African Grey Parrot can also be easily trained. North Pacific Giant Octopus – this octopus is considered the smartest invertebrate on earth. They are able to create long and short term memory. They also have problem solving skills. Other smart animals include: Ravens, Crows and Border collie.

Every animal is different just like humans are. Some humans are smarter than others. Therefore, some types of animals are smarter than others.
