Like other apps, WeChat was created in order to provide more services. If a user can have access to their social media accounts, message others and send and receive payments, then this is all inclusive. This means that the user will more likely use this app over another one because it provides more functions.
WeChat does a lot more things than many of the other apps. At first, Tencent, the company that created WeChat, had created another product. This product was known as QQ. It was simply an instant messaging system. That is all it did. They wanted something that did everything. That is how WeChat was created. Not many other products provide social media avenues and allow for receiving money.
