Much of Egypt’s economy can be thankful to tourism. Due to their long history and famous landmarks, many tourists come to Egypt to see them. While these tourists are there, they may plan on shopping for souvenirs and they want to stay in nice hotels. Their main industries include tourism, but it also includes textiles, food processing, light manufactures, construction, hydrocarbons, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and cement.

Tourism in Egypt is considered to be probably one of the most important industries to their economy. They focus on people coming to their country to spend money. However, when the government had issues several years ago, it hit Egypt’s economy hard. People did not want to come to Egypt in order to experience the problems that they were having with their government.
