The Pythagorean triple can easily be seen and recognized because the picture of it is popular in relation to the Pythagorean theorem. It shows a right triangle with a square off of each side. The biggest square is off of the hypotenuse. It is required that the amounts for each side are positive integers.

The most common type of the Pythagorean triple is when the smallest side is equal to three with the slightly longer side at four. The hypotenuse is five. There are fifteen other triples that can work. This is because their lengths will equal to the formula of A squared plus B squared will be equal to C squared. One other triple is five, twelve and thirteen for the hypotenuse.
