Valentine’s Day is a holiday that is liked and appreciated by most. However, there are some who don’t like it, and why they don’t want it is their own reasoning which doesn’t make any sense.
However, one of those who dislikes Valentine’s Day is no other than The Washington Post’s Kevin Huffman. The annual argument against Valentine’s Day comes from Mr. Huffman and just why the holiday does need to be on the list of extinction very soon.
Huffman does track the evolution of the holiday from Pope Gelasius formalizing St. Valentine’s Day to be on February 14th in 500 A.D. to an industry in the United States valued at 14 billion dollars.
