Symptoms of STDs can show up in a person, as early as, two days after exposure. However, it can take as long as a month, for any symptoms to show up. Detecting an STD is something that is done by an STD fest. A
bacterial STD test is usually given to a person exposed to a sexual disease within two to three weeks. The test should then be given a second time after three to six months to be sure of the end results. The type of STD test given is dependent on the STD itself and its incubation period.
