The ghillie suit is indeed useful and does serve the purpose to provide safety and camouflage for soldiers and snipers. However, it can stand to be improved upon, and that is because the present FRGS is bulky and hot.
There is an improved ghillie suit called the IGS, and it still contains the flame-retardant properties of the IGS.
